Share the Bear Program

Share Your Bear is a joint effort with Kids Help Phone, Girl Guides of anada and MaxWell offices around Calgary. Throughout the year MaxWell offices collect new and gently-loved teddy bears which Kids Help Phone collects and with the help of the Girl Guides, clean and tag. 

Once a year, the bears are presented to the Calgary Police Service Victim Assistance Unit, who share them with children and youth who have been a witness or a victim of crime or tragedy. On average well over 2000 bears are donated each year.
